Information on the processing of personal data

This notice describes how Golf Il Cerreto di Miglianico processes the personal data of people who visit the website and use the contact and newsletter sign-up forms, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003.

What data we collect

  • Browsing data: the systems that run the website automatically record certain technical data (for example IP address, browser type, pages visited, date and time) that is necessary for the website to function and to keep it secure.
  • Data you provide to us: your first name, surname, email address, phone number and the text of your message when you write to us using the contact form; your email address when you sign up for the newsletter.

Why we process your data and on what legal basis

  • To respond to your requests for information and bookings: performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To send you the newsletter: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.
  • To ensure the security of the website and prevent abuse and spam: the legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Usage statistics and measurement of advertising campaigns: only with your consent, given via the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Providing the data requested in the contact form is optional, but without it we cannot reply to you.

How and for how long we keep your data

Data is processed using electronic tools, with appropriate security measures to prevent its loss, unlawful use or unauthorised access. Requests sent via the contact form are kept for as long as necessary to handle them and in any case for no longer than 24 months; newsletter email addresses are kept until consent is withdrawn; technical browsing data is kept for the time strictly necessary for the security of the website.

Who your data may be disclosed to

Data is processed by the club's authorised staff and by suppliers, appointed as data processors, who help us manage the website, email and newsletter. It is not made public or sold to third parties. Where we use services based outside the European Union (for example Google or Meta, only with your prior consent), the transfer takes place with the safeguards provided for by the GDPR, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You may at any time request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you may object to processing (Arts. 15–22 GDPR), as well as withdraw any consent you have given. To exercise your rights, write to segreteria@golfilcerreto.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
